What Is the BSEH Class 12 Chemistry Paper Pattern for 2026?
Before you practice anything, it helps to understand how the paper is structured. The Board of School Education Haryana has updated the question paper design for 2025-26. Here is a simple breakdown:BSEH Class 12 Chemistry guess paper 2026— Set A B C & D
| Question Type | Marks per Question | Number of Questions | Total Marks |
| Objective (MCQ + Fill in Blanks + OWA + Assertion-Reason) | 1 | 18 | 18 |
| Very Short Answer | 2 | 7 | 14 |
| Short Answer | 3 | 5 | 15 |
| Case Study | 4 | 2 | 8 |
| Long Answer | 5 | 3 | 15 |
| Theory Total | 35 | 70 | |
| Practical | — | — | 30 |
| Grand Total | 100 |
The exam is 3 hours long. Internal choices are given in Long Answer questions and in one part of each Case Study.
One big update for 2026 is the Assertion-Reason type questions — 3 marks come from this new format. Students who have only practised old papers (2023 format) need to also prepare for this type.BSEH Class 12 Chemistry guess paper 2026— Set A B C & D
How Were These Predicted Papers Made?
These are not random guess papers. We followed a proper method:
Step 1 — Analysed Past Papers We studied all four sets (A, B, C, D) of the BSEH Class 12 Chemistry paper from 2023, 2024, and 2025. We noted which topics appeared in every single set, which appeared in 2 out of 4 sets, and which were asked only once.
Step 2 — Matched the New Syllabus The 2025-26 BSEH syllabus has 10 units. We made sure every unit gets questions according to the marks weightage given by the Board.
Step 3 — Identified the Highest-Frequency Topics Some topics came up in every past paper, every year. These are the topics that almost certainly will come in 2026 too. We marked them as ★★★ in Set D specially.
Step 4 — Built Four Complete Papers Each set has different questions from the others. Set D is the most confident one, built entirely from ★★★ highest-frequency topics.BSEH Class 12 Chemistry guess paper 2026— Set A B C & D

5 Smart Tips to Use These Papers Effectively
1. Attempt in Exam Conditions First Sit down for 3 hours with no phone, no notes. Attempt the paper as if it is the real exam. This is the only way to know your actual speed and weak areas.
2. Start with Set D Set D has the highest probability questions. If you are short on time, prioritise this one. Cover it fully before touching Sets A, B, and C. BSEH 12th Chemistry sample paper 2026
3. Focus on Numericals At least 10 marks every year come from calculations — electrolysis, molarity/molality, kinetics time calculations, magnetic moment, and colligative properties. Never skip numericals.
4. Learn All Reactions with Equations In Long Answer questions, equations carry marks. A correct mechanism with wrong equation gets partial marks. Write every reaction equation while studying — not just the name. BSEH 12th Chemistry sample paper 2026
5. Revise the Assertion-Reason Format This is new in the 2025-26 design. Practise identifying whether both A and R are true, and whether R correctly explains A. The four options confuse students who have not practised this type. BSEH Class 12 Chemistry guess paper 2026— Set A B C & D
